OUR LITTLE VALENTINE'S!!!! LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day!!! We sure did miss our man in our life!!! We are now 4 1/2 months away from this 15 month tour being over and I can definitely say I cannot wait!!! I don't know how single moms do it!! Its tough!!! And thats all there is to that!! We didn't do anything for Valentine's day. Just our normal routine like we do everyday!! The girls took valentine's to school to exchange with their friends and thats probably about it!! They have 20 kids in their class so you can only imagine how much candy they got and that they want to eat it all at one time!! NOPE!! NOT HAPPENING!!! haha!!! Anywho, hope everyone had a great day! I get to go visit Dave in about 5-6 weeks and so excited about seeing him and possibly getting to tour a little bit of Turkey this time!!! Time just needs to speed up so that day can get here!!!

3rd Birthday

Ok...where oh where has the time gone haha!!! I am posting about the girls 3rd Birthday that was over a month ago!!! Better late than never!

Ok, so there birthday was on a Tuesday this year. We went to dinner and got them a cake and sang to them at the restaurant with just me and the girls and grandma and grandpa! They had been sick with strep throat and had to get a penicillin shot that day :( Poor babies!! But after that shot and a nap they were almost 100% better!! It was like magic!!

We had their party at Chuck E Cheese this year! They love it because they just run around to all of the different rides, mainly the merry-go-round ponies ha!! But hey they enjoy it!! We had family and friends and a few of their friends from school came to play as well!!! They had a great time!!! I still can't believe my little preemie babies are already 3 :( So here are a few pictures from their special day!!!

Im linking up to Kelly's Korner blog working moms post. I have never done this before, but I thought it would be neat to enter!

My name is Kristen! I am the wife of an SSgt in the Airforce and a mommy to 2 beautiful twin girls! Currently my husband is on a 15 month tour in Turkey while I am here in Texas with our girls staying with my parents while he is gone! It is tough most days and we miss him like crazy! I was staying at home with the girls, but we live in the middle of no where and we would run out of fun stuff to do, they would get bored with me, and we are just so far away from towns to do any play dates with our friends. So I enrolled them in full time daycare so they can interact with kids their age. In order for me to do that, I started working with our family insurance agency selling home and auto insurance. It also gives me some me time since my husband is away right now.

Here is what our weekdays look like! I take them to school, I work from 9-3. Then I have time to get in a quick workout in before picking them up from school. The best part of my day is when I pick them up from school! They are so excited to see me when I walk through the door they sprint as fast as they can to give me a hug!! Then we rush home, cook dinner, eat, take baths, get ready for bed and probably by 7 or 8 is when I get to sit down and relax. I know with by me working it doesn't give me much time with them. I stayed at home for the first 2 years of their life. But to help time go by quicker while their daddy is in Turkey we have to keep busy. And with the girls in daycare and me working...it keeps my mind off things and the weeks seem to fly by now!!

So with all that said, its tough. Im married, but being a single working mom and trying to raise twin girls so they can have the best life they can have!! So I have to give props to all the single mommies out there that do this all of them time! I don't know how yall do it, but I know just to deal with it and put the kiddos first!! They are my first priority and this is just a little bit of time that will pass!!! Can't wait til our family is back together again!!

Dave has been gone a year in April. His tour in Turkey is up in July and then we are off to a new journey in England for 3 years!! Gotta love the military life!! New adventures and seeing the world!!

Would love to meet other moms out there like me and have the same things in common!!

Busy!

We have been extremely busy around here! Always doing something it seems like and I love that because it makes the time go by so much faster!!!I got to go to the UH football game with my friends a few weeks ago that was a last minute thing and had a blast!!! I will be going to the last home game and enjoy sometime with my friends again at my old stomping grounds!!! I didn't have anyone to watch the girls around me, so I called Aunt Kelly since she lives 15 minutes from UH and she was happy and excited to watch the girls!! They had a really great time with her and I knew they were in good hands!!

Bellville had the Austin County Fair a couple weeks ago and we got to go to the opening parade. They pretty much shut down the town for this parade so the girls daycare was closed. They really enjoyed it and waved at everyone that passed! I will have to post pictures later because I don't have them uploaded...so look for an edit to this post later!

That weekend we went to Dave's Aunt Kelly's house to visit!! The girls really enjoy going over there and I know that they all enjoyed having us and spending time with the girls!! I guess we waited too long for all of them too meet because they all love each other!!! The girls really loved playing with their 2nd cousin Michael!!! He is so good with them!!! We will definitely be visiting them more often since we are moving to England in 8 months!!

We are going to Corpus the same weekend as them so we can all be there at the same time, Dave will be here, so he will get to see them as well, then we will spend Christmas at my parents on Christmas Day since Dave will be heading back to Turkey the day after :(. But we are excited he at least gets to be here for a short time and spend Christmas with family!!! And that is all that matters!

We miss Dave so much!!! He has now been in Turkey for 7 months. Such a long time and he has pretty much missed the girls entire year of being 2. Which is hard for us and especially him. 2 is an important age I think because they change everyday and are learning so much right now. They didn't really talk all that clear when he left and now they can have an entire conversation with you. So crazy! I took a picture of the girls yesterday and so didn't realize how tall they were and how much taller Audrey is than Addisyn. Oh well! At least Dave gets to see pictures. When he comes in December, that will be the last time he sees them until his tour is up July 1st. They will be 3 1/2 already by then!!! So hard to think about it like that.

So besides all of that!! I have been working and it has made this month fly by and I love it!!! I am hoping for the next 8 months to do the same and I know it will with the holidays coming up, then I will be going to Turkey for another visit hoping to tour a bit this time end of March/April, then he will be done and off to England we go!!! Im getting excited to start another new journey and all be together again! So until next time! Look for the picture update from the Austin County Fair Parade!!

So we are getting very excited about Dave coming to visit!! I am trying to be overly excited so that the girls can be excited when they see him for the first time in 5 months!! Dave flied into Houston airport Thursday at 1030 am!! He is actually leaving Turkey at 2 in the morning our time..So we are praying that everything goes smoothly and he will have a safe flight!!

We have been very busy lately, the girls are enjoying being in daycare, I am working full time now at my moms insurance office! I went to a 3 day crash course to take the insurance licensing exam and I passed the first time around, which can be hard to do!!! But I did it. Now I am just waiting for my license so I can sell!! So right now I am just learning what I have to do!! Hoping it will all work out!! Its keeping me busy and helping the time away from Dave go by a heck of a lot faster than it was, which is AWESOME! Anywho, here a couple of pictures I took of the girls with my phone..So until next time..I will have a better post while Dave is here!!

GREAT VISIT!

I had a great time visiting Dave in Turkey! We didn’t really do much, but I knew that going there because of his knee. So really we just hung around and just spent some time together!! I never really adjusted to the time change. They say it takes about 2 weeks to get onto some kind of schedule with the 8 hour time difference. Well I was there 2 weeks and never did haha. I would sleep til about 11-1 everyday…such a waste of the day…then I would be up all night. It was horrible!!! I told Dave that when I come back next March to visit again, that we will do some tours that they have available to go see things around Turkey!!! It will be a lot of fun, plus his knee should be a lot better by then!! And then he can drive us around too with all the crazy drivers and no rules they have there haha!! I didn’t like that at all and I got very frustrated really easy and I was driving a stick shift…and it has been about 10 years since I have really driven one.. so yea that was not fun haha!!

So a really BIG THANK YOU!!!! To my parents for watching the girls so that I can go be with Dave!! It is much appreciated and I can never say enough thank yous!!! Love yall!!!

I was so happy to be back and to see the girls and to see their reaction when they saw me!! I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what they would do after being gone for 16 days. When I walked into their classroom to pick them up, Audrey was standing by herself watching the kids play and Addisyn was getting her hair fixed by one of the teachers. Audrey saw me and looked..and said “oh my mommy went on airplane, where my daddy?…then she goes mommy!!!” and ran over to me!!! It was awesome!!! Then Addisyn ran over to me after getting her hair done and gave me a tight hug!!! I missed them so much and I can just imagine what they will do when Dave comes for a visit!! They aren’t going to want to let him out of site probably!!! I know they miss him so much and he misses them!!! When they aren’t with you its like something is missing from you..that you feel naked haha!!! IF that makes any sense!!! We are now back on a routine and im enjoying being home with them!! They are at day care and im hoping to start working soon so that they can stay in day care since they are loving it so much!! It will also help this next 10 1/2 months go by quick too!!! ON a good note, hoping Dave will be on leave September 7th so that he can come home and see his babies for a much needed visit!! Dr gave him the approval to travel!!!

And last but not least!! Going to say some extra prayers everyday for the much needed rain that the state of Texas needs…Its getting really bad. This is my parents pasture…brown grass and look at the pond…very very low….pretty SAD

Meat Sword

So we went to this place called the Meat sword for dinner tonight. It was kind of my first Turkish experience. Its kind of like a family style dining I guess you can say. They bring out all of the food, there are no menus, and you share with everyone. When we first got there they had different stuff on the table for appetizers I guess. Bread, different types of humus, different kinds of salads…Not too bad..then they bring out this really long piece of bread on a board and put it in the center of the table. While you are finishing up the salads they bring out this meat on a sword, lay it on top of the bread and then you just pick off it and eat it. It was alright….on the bottom it had lamb, and then on top of that it was chicken, peppers, onion and tomatoes..Wasn’t a big fan of the lamb…when you finish the meat, they take your plate, give you a new one and then bring out fruits for your dessert. They had watermelon, peaches, grapes…then they brought out this thing that was like a fried cheese covered in a honey sauce..sounds weird and is a strange combination but was pretty good I thought. Then they brought out sliced bananas with walnuts and a honey sauce which was pretty good as well. I think that I was full before they even brought out the meat ha-ha from all of the bread that was on the table. So it was a good experience I guess and now I can say I ate at the Meat Sword in Turkey ha-ha!!!

Update on Dave

Ok here is a little update on Dave and his knee!! He is doing so much better from the time I got here!! He is probably moving around about 85% better than when I got here. He goes to the doctor tomorrow for a check-up and hoping to get this cast off and put a soft cast or even a brace so that he can start walking around on it! Since he is already walking on it with the cast on but with crutches. Doctor said at the last appointment that the crutches will probably be taken away at tomorrow’s appointment. Dave’s “hard cast” is not so hard anymore because its extremely hot and very very humid here he has sweat so much that the cast is kind of soft and you can push it in…so why not put a soft cast or a brace on haha!!! Dave has been missing the gym! So off we went on Monday to the gym and he just did arm stuff and I ran on the treadmill! He took yesterday off cause he didn’t want to do the same thing 2 days in a row so I headed to the gym by myself to run on the treadmill while he rested his leg!! I think he did too much the day before walking around…without crutches..ooops haha!! He said the crutches were rubbing him raw!!! I don’t blame him, but ya know!!! Anyhow, I will have a better update tomorrow after the doctor appointment!!! But here is a picture of how is knee looks now..almost looks like a knee since the swelling is starting to go down more!!!

Its crazy how fast you lose your muscle…A week after surgery and he has absolutely 0 strength or muscle in his right leg He will get it back quick im sure when he is able to start rehabing!!!

He is also going to ask the doctor when he will be able to travel because he is really wanting to see the girls! 4 months away is a long time!! Right now we are looking at around the 24-29 of September to mid October..but we will see what he says and if there is leave available at his work!! Hope and pray there is!! The girls need their daddy!

Day Care

Since I needed to come to Turkey and take care of Dave after he had knee surgery, I had to start the girls in day care a bit earlier than they were suppose to start. They were originally suppose to start when school began August 22nd and were only going to go 2 days a week so that I could have some me time and maybe even substitute for Sealy ISD on the days they went to school. Well, I made a phone call and told the director of the day care what was going on and she said that they could start immediately!!! Wonderful!!! This was on Friday and they started on Monday!!! They dropped off at school really well the first day. They said that it seemed as if they had been in that environment for years!!! I was like that is wonderful news! She told me “mom no need to worry, we will take great care of them while you are gone, and help your mom out as much as we can!” The girls are loving it and so am I!!

Oh and I had the girls pretty much potty trained and in panties only before we started. They had a couple of accidents here and there when they started school but now are doing great!! Mom said they went the other day with 0 accidents!!! When we went to San Antonio a couple of weeks ago I let them ride in the car in panties for the 2 1/2 hour drive and would just stop every so often to let them go. They did awesome the whole weekend!! Made it 3 days in and out of cars for long periods of time with 1 accident!!! wahoo!!! Audrey pretty much stays dry the entire time!! Working on Addisyn to do the same!! Pretty much there though…but going to a restaurant is another story haha!!! They have to go to the bathroom like 50 million times….I don’t know if they just like to flush the toilet or what…but man, it gets tiring after the 2nd or 3rd time taking them haha!! Oh well at least they are going in the toilet!! Right???

So I know the girls are in good hands while I am in Turkey taking care of their dad!!! Its been a week so far, and I miss them like crazy!! I can only imagine how much Dave misses them being away 4-6 months or longer away from them! Dave just got his new computer in the mail on Monday since the other one pooped out! So we have been able to skype the girls every morning, afternoon for us, before they go to school and we really like that and think they do too!!! so they eat breakfast with the computer in front of them so its like we are eating with them haha!! They look like they have grown already! I can’t wait to see them!! Thanks again mom and dad for watching them for me!! I really appreciate it more than you will know!!! Hello From Turkey!

Hello from Turkey! I just wanted to give a little update on Dave!!! He is doing much better than he was when I first got here! Ok, here is the story on the broken knee!

Dave was playing basketball last Thursday the 14th. He went to go shoot a lay-up and his right knee gave out before he even left the ground. He said it felt like someone had ran into him causing him to fall. Then when he looked down he saw his knee and said he almost passed out. He said he tried to straighten his leg out and when he did it would just go back to the bent position. He had to ride an ambulance to the hospital off base to the Adana Hospital because he couldn't get off the ground. They put him on a stretcher, gave him some oxygen and off he went to get x-rays. They had told him that he had fractured the patella and that he would need to have surgery. So come to find out he had totally ruptured the patella tendons. He said his knee cap (patella) was up in his quad area....I know that sounds gross..and the dr told him that the tendons that hold the patella in place looked like spaghetti and was the worst irruption he had ever seen in his 40 years as an orthopedic surgeon. Dr said that it was a very difficult surgery to put back together. A week and a few days later it almost looks like a knee again! Still has some swelling but getting there. Dave has been on crutches with a hard cast that covers his entire leg. When I first got here he could barely get around. Today, he was walking without the crutches...not sure he is suppose to be doing that..haha...We went to the dr this past Friday and the dr said that it looks great and right on schedule with the healing process. Dave hates this cast...it opens so he can air out and do some exercises, but he asked if he could take it off and get a soft cast/brace and the dr kind of laughed at him and said no. He said at the next dr appointment which is this Thursday, that he would be taken completely off crutches and maybe get the soft cast/brace! So hopefully he will get that!!! He is completely off of his pain meds, and taking motrin only when needed! I am glad that I got to come here to be able to take care of him and help him get around! I wish I was here for better circumstances but what can you do!!!

Im still very jet lagged haha and hope to be on somewhat of a schedule before I leave here lol. I really miss the girls and this was the hardest thing I had to do. I have never been away from the girls for more than 2 days and im missing them like crazy!! But because I have such awesome parents to watch them for me, I got to come take care of my hubby!! I can never thank them enough for doing that for me!!! The girls are now in full time day care so that my mom and dad wouldn't have to miss their work and so the girls wouldn't get tossed around house, to house! They are loving it except for the bad cold they now have!! Mom is taking them to the dr today and try to get some meds before it turns into something bad!! So thank you mom and dad for doing this for me!! I love yall so much and greatly appreciate it!!! I haven't gotten around to take any pictures here, but I plan too later in the week. We rented a car for the time that I am here so that Dave didn't have to ask for rides, get taxi's, or crutch around! So I am trying to be brave and drive these crazy, no rules, streets of Adana Turkey. These drivers are crazy haha..they have no lanes and make up their own rules lol..Pretty scary!!! Anyhow we are doing good and im glad to just get to sit around and spend some quality time with my hubby!! Its been a long 4 months!!! 11 more to go!!!

25th Birthday!

Today is my little brother Matt’s birthday. He would be 25 this year. I am still in shock that its almost going to be 7 years since the accident. If you don’t know already, my little brother was killed in a car accident October 24, 2004 by a drunk driver. He was the best brother any sister could ask for, even with the little fights we had. But who doesn’t fight with their siblings sometimes. We loved each other and would do anything for each other! WE miss him so much and I think of him daily. He touched so many people in different ways. He was taken from us and we still don’t know why. No one will ever know except God. We just know that he is in a better place watching over all of us. He would have been the best Uncle Matt! I know he is still the best Uncle! The girls would love him!!!! They always look at his pictures and say “who that, Matt?” I want them to know who he was and what a great person he was!! He was a kind, caring, loving, friendly person who would do anything for anyone!!! Very energetic, popular, and loved by so many!!

So here is to you Matt!!! Happy 25th Birthday!!! We miss you dearly!!! Love you with all our hearts forever!!!

4th of July Weekend

So for the 4th of July weekend the girls and I packed up and headed down to Corpus to spend sometime with the Midyett family! We had a great time just hanging around and playing! The girls really enjoy playing with Isabel and Lillie! They just got a new puppy, Chica! It’s a toy Chihuahua. Audrey and Addisyn were obsessed with it and would carry her around everywhere…We had to fight them to get the puppy away to take a nap, or eat, or go potty ha-ha! They love that puppy!!! I tried to ask Dave if they could have one and he told me no they have a dog ha-ha!

We also headed to Corpus Christi Lake on Sunday for the day!! The girls had a great time swimming, playing in the sprinkler, playing fetch with the dog, and eating of course!!! We also roasted marsh mellows for smores and watched some pretty fireworks!!! For the 4th we hung around, played outside, ate some yummy cupcakes, and had some yummy bbq fajitas!! It was a great weekend!!!!

WEIGHT LOSS!

So I have been working extra hard to get back down to my high school size. I am determined and will not stop until I reach my goal this time!! I have changed my eating. I am trying to eat healthier..a lot of chicken and veggies, wraps for lunch (NO CHIPS), trying to drink more water, and of course exercise!!! every night when the girls go to bed is when I begin my workout! I don’t have much time during the day to do it..I could but the girl won’t allow me to do what I want to do!!! So at night is when it is. I use a treadmill but would rather run outside, but I am living on pasture with some goats ha-ha..not much of anywhere to run! I run about 5-6 miles every night about 5-6 days a week. Trying to work myself up to more so I can run a half marathon maybe in November, but we will see. Baby steps right? Its also taking me a while because I am trying to increase my time, so the faster I run the shorter I run if you know what I mean…but eventually I will be in good enough shape to run fast and longer ha-ha! After I run, I do about 200 abs, 50 squats with about 5 pound weight..trying to tone, 50 lunges with 5 pound weight, and about 40 push-ups…I do that every night and it is paying off!!! Since I started 2 months ago I have lost 21.8 pounds and am very proud of myself!! I still have about 10-15 more pounds to go and I think that I will be happy enough to maintain!!! So that is my weight loss story ha-ha!!! Im going to post a before and after pic!!

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort

So last Tuesday we went to dinner at Wild Wing Café, as we do every Tuesday because they have a 2fer night! (Buy 12 wings, get 12 free). My dad told me that him and my mom were going to take me and the girls along with them to this Hyatt Regency resort! It was his father’s day get away that we got to join in on!!! I was pretty excited because I was going somewhere, where you can just relax and have no worries! And let me just tell you, the place is beautiful and a must see!!! I would say that if you are looking for your once a year vacation, to go to this one or the one in San Antonio. They are the same thing. But they did say that this one, which was in Bastrop, TX right outside of Austin, had the same layout, but had a little bit more activities to do! The property was so nice and peaceful and was a great mini vacation!!!

We spent our time at the pool most of the time!! They had a beach area, a regular sized pool with a volleyball and basketball, a splash pad for the kiddies, a big circle 1ft deep pool for the kiddies, an adult pool, a lazy river pool which the girls absolutely loved!!! We spent most of the time there. WE put a little life jacket float and arm floaters and they just floated down the river and wanted no one to touch them…cause they can do it themselves ha-ha. They had a restaurant/bar at the pool. The rooms had nice balcony’s a separate shower/bathtub! They had about 3-4 different restaurants inside the hotel. Maybe more. This place also provides pony rides, horse back riding, etc.. Every night at 8pm they had a s’more party!!! They gave you the marsh mellows to roast..then when you were done they made your s’more with gram cracker and chocolate!! yummy!! Then at 845 every night they had a big blow up screen and played a movie for the kids. Very cool!

They also have I guess I'm going to call it Nannies for rent ha-ha!!! They have a Nannies from the heart group…you fill out the info, they get you a babysitter. We did that one night, the lady was very nice…you have to do a minimum of 4 hours..She took them to the playground to play, took them to look at the ducks at the pond, and then even took them to the smores!!! She was very nice and the girls went right up to her so that was nice!!! So I got to enjoy a nice dinner with Mom and Dad with no kids!!! They also have something called Camp Hyatt. If your child is at least 3 years of age, you can pay for them to go to this for about 4 hours, they have it 3 times a day I believe, includes dinner or lunch, and the parents get to enjoy adult time while their kids are having a great time playing games and stuff with the hyatt staff!! My dad also played golf 2 days!! One morning while he golfed, mom and I went and got pedicures and manicures. The girls went with us and just sat on our laps and they did really well up until the last 5 or 10 min!!! But hey!!! They were good haha!! Anyways if you haven’t seen or heard of it and need a nice relaxing vacation once a year or even twice you should check it out!!!! Here are the pictures!! Enjoy!!!

Potty Training

Ok so its time to really get down to business!!! The girls were potty trained last January while they were in daycare. When we began the moving process in March, it all went down the drain..we didn’t pay much attention to taking them to the bathroom every 30 min to an hour because we were busy packing…staying at a hotel and always on the go Oh well!! So here I am again trying to potty train them!!! I am hoping this time they will get it the first time I really concentrate on it and I think they will minus a few accidents here and there..but hey that’s expected right??? I am trying not to go anywhere for a couple of days so I can buckle down and get this done!! I am tired of buying diapers (pull-ups)! They only come with 58 in a pack which is not very many for 2 kids..so you can only imagine what I am spending haha!

Here is my plan! I have made the girls a potty chart! For each pee in the potty they get to add one sticker…for each poo in the potty they get 2! At the end of each row they will receive a candy. They started off pretty well! I actually took a sticker away from Addisyn’s cause she poo in her pants..is that bad? Or do you think I should still do that and then she will get the hint!? HMMM…. Anywho, they are really enjoying it! They have each completed 1 row as of this morning and I keep reminding them when they finish a row they receive a candy!! So I hope this all works!!!

Wow! The month of May has slipped right past us!! I mean it flew by!!! Seems just this past weekend we were in Louisiana visiting our friends!!!

2 weeks ago we made a trip to Corpus Christi!! We had a great time!!! We enjoyed the science museum, playing outside on the swing set, playing in the water and making water balloons!!! It was a great 5 days!! We will be going back on June 2nd to help watch Lillie and Isabel while their school is out for a couple of days!!! The girls really enjoy playing with their cousins!!!

My parents have been on a nice 2 week Mediterranean cruise so we haven't been here much. Its scary out here in the middle of nowhere. I also spent 5 days with my grandma and grandpa and the girls absolutely loved it!!!! They enjoyed having lots of driveway to ride their tricycles, ride the gator, see the cows!!! I enjoyed sitting around doing nothing pretty much and not have to drive anywhere!!! All and all its been a good month!!! Went by pretty fast!!!!

GREAT NEWS for the girls and I!!!! Dave will be back to visit us around August 2!!!! Which means its only about 68 days away!!!! Can’t wait!!! He will be back for about 2- 2 1/2 weeks!!! The sucky thing will be him leaving again after the girls will just be getting use to him being back for a bit..But hopefully they will do ok!!! So excited!!!

We have a busy next 2 weeks too!!! We will be heading to Corpus next Thursday for 6 days. Then we come back here..do laundry..then we are headed to San Antonio to visit my Aunt and Uncle and cousins for a couple of days!!! Can’t wait for that either!!!! Anyways sorry if this post bored yall!!! Here are some pictures!!

We had a great Mother’s Day! Would have been even better if Dave was here! We started the day off going to church! After that was off to our first stop! My grandma’s house! We enjoyed visiting and having a nice turkey lunch!!! The girls enjoy going in and out of the house haha!!! That’s all they want to do is go outside and its so hot right now! Oh well! After we visited for a little while we headed back to Bellville to visit my other Grandma! The girls had a good time playing with the stuffed bunnies while we all chatted!! Then it was time to head home!! It was a nice day!!!

Friday I also got a special surprise delivery!!! Totally was not expecting anything and I received some pretty flowers from Dave and the girls!!! I love them!!! I love to be surprised!!! I hope everyone had a Happy Easter! We sure did!!! We started our day off by getting up and heading to Church! It was packed today!!! We dropped the girls off at Sunday School!! They actually both stayed today!!! Audrey has been having a hard time at drop off and I think after about 5 minutes she was fine! Their class did an egg hunt while we were in church so we didn’t get to see!

After church we headed to Katy for brunch and another egg hunt for the girls!!! It was really their first “real hunt” They didn’t get many eggs because there were too many big kids..but that’s ok!!! They enjoyed it and loved the “candy” that was in the eggs haha!!!

We then headed back to Bellville for a late afternoon/dinner with the grandparents!!! We had a nice visit and yummy food! Also did another egg hunt for the girls and they knew what to do that time!!! Easter bunny was good to them!!! I hope everyone had a fantastic day!!! I am exhausted so here are some pictures to hold you over until next time!

So today was the girls first time to dye Easter eggs! At first I was hesitant for them to do it because I was afraid it would mess up their clothes. So I found some no spill dye cups at Walmart. Well, I thought that they would work better, their clothes wouldn’t get messed up and their hands and legs wouldn’t have dye all over them haha…Was I wrong. They still managed to stick their whole hands in the cups..spill the cups..When they are “NO SPILL” cups lol! So then we decided to just take the tops off the cups and just have at it! They had so much fun, even if their mommy was worried about the dye getting on their skin and stained on their clothes. Oh well at least they enjoyed it right? So here are some pictures from their first experience with dying Easter eggs!!!

After we dyed Easter eggs, we ate dinner and then decide to bake a cake! The girls helped me make it!

Well wow!!!! Ha!! That’s all I can say lol…I am so far behind on blogging…Going on 3 months now. I have never gotten this behind. We have done so much but have taken very few pictures. We have been so busy with moving to Bellville, visiting family in Corpus, back to Bellville to spend time with Dave..and watching him off as he moved to Adana, Turkey for 15 months.

We thought that we might be able to move there with him and they change his orders to 2 years instead of 15 months. Which is fine, but we would also lose our follow on to England. Well I didn’t care that we lost our follow-on to England because that would mean our family would get to be together and Dave wouldn’t miss out on so much stuff with the girls since they change and grow everyday! Well when he went to ask of course they said we can move there, and that Dave would have to extend is tour to 2 years. Fine! But here is the bad news. They won’t pay for dependents to travel there and relocate. So that means they would ship my vehicle, but they wouldn’t ship our household goods which we would need and they wouldn’t pay for our plane tickets, passports, and Vesas…BOOO Dave said he was so angry at the people because he didn’t understand if they didn’t pay for our stuff to get there why did he have to extend..Just didn’t make any sense. Oh well we are not going and now we are going to visit each other every 2-3 months which I can handle, but he will only get to see the girls 2 times in 15 months

Here is the schedule I want to have. Dave gets 37 days of leave and can take it however and whenever he wants. I am thinking this:

Dave visits: end of June to beginning of July for 2 weeks

Kristen visits: September for about 8 days(cant be away from the girls that long considering I have to have others watch them!)

Dave visits: end of December for Christmas and Beginning of January for the girls birthday! 2 weeks

Kristen Visits: mid march for our anniversary!! (6 years) then Dave will be home with us for good sometime in June!!!

To me that sounds like a plan!!!!

Anywho haven’t been up to much lately lol!!! I plan on visiting our friends in Louisiana next weekend, Corpus on the 12th of may..and then Dave will be here the next month!!! Hoping time flies bye!!!! We miss him so much! We are trying to keep busy as much as we can.

2 Year Stats

So we took Addisyn and Audrey to the doctor yesterday for their 2 year check-up! Dr. said everything looked great and they both are doing really well. He asked if we had any issues or concerns with them or anything about their language and we said not really we think they are doing great! But we did tell him that Audrey says sentences that you can understand and when Addisyn tries to say a sentence you can't understand one word that comes out of her mouth but jibberish. So he then asked if she says at least 25-50 words. I was like umm..I don't really know I don't count them haha...but I do know she knows a lot of words just cant put them together to make a sentence. He suggested by 2 1/2 if she is still talking the same way to get her evaluated on her speech. But I think that she is fine and will be fine by that age, she is just a bit behind Audrey which is to be expected. So I can't remember for the life of me their exact stats, but here is the about range haha!

Addiysn:
Height: 32"-15th percentile
Weight:22 pounds- 10th percentile

Audrey:
Height: 34"-50th-75th percentile
Weight: 29 pounds:50-75th percentile
I didn't hear what he said about her percentile's because I was curious as to what Addisyn's were because I was excited she finally got out of the 5th percentile!!!

So they are doing wonderful!!! Saturday is their big birthday party and of course the weather as of last week said it was going to be in the 60's and sunshine...well as of yesterday it has changed..GO FIGURE....its a 50% chance of rain..no sunshine...and in the low 50's for the high...of course it would change because I am having a party and rented a bouncy castle...Now we aren't going to be able to have it unless the weather somehow changes on Saturday which is still possible..It has changed everyday this week..so maybe we will get lucky it will not RAIN :( but we do need it...just I don't want it until after the party haha!!! Well there you go! Hope everyone is doing alright and getting back into the swing of things after all the holidays..I know I need to get back on track with working out and dieting...Until after their party! Christmas and Birthday!

We had a great Christmas and enjoyed spending time with my family!! The girls really enjoyed opening gifts this year and I can’t wait to see next year when they understand a little more!

My parents and grandparents came up on Christmas Eve. We were all going to go to Church, but Audrey was running a fever from and ear infection and a virus…Since my parents went to Church the night before for their Christmas service they offered to stay home and babysit while Dave and I and my grandma and grandpa went to Church! It was a great service! Lots of people and kind of unorganized…well the parking lot anyways between their 2 services was a mess haha…Anyways, we came home, ate some yummy ham…put the girls to bed and started building the nursery thing we bought them from “Santa” Man I don’t know who makes the toys haha but why they have to have so many little pieces I have no clue…there has to be an easier way lol!!! Anyways we woke up Christmas morning…well let me rephrase that…I woke up Christmas morning and told Dave, “I can’t sleep anymore! Lets go get everyone up and open gifts haha!!” So I went to my parents room and acted as if I was a little kid again and said “Santa came!!!!” I scared them because they were dead asleep..The girls hadn’t been sleeping well and were up several times during the night because they were sick So we all got up and dressed and went down stairs to see what Santa brought the girls…They were so excited to see the gifts but I didn’t get them on camera…oops…Oh well…I would say Santa did good this year for all of us!!! Thank you to my family for everything we really appreciate it!!

I got to thinking a lot after they left to go home about when Dave isn’t here and that I would be all by myself with no family. The girls have been sick and I was thinking, “how am I going to get through this alone…” Monday after Christmas I decided to talk to Dave about me going to live with my parents for the year Dave is in Turkey. We both agreed it would probably be best if I did. I told him if I didn’t I wouldn’t have any hair left when he came home because I would have pulled it all out haha!!! So that’s our plans..we are in the process of getting things together to sell, get our medical records together, figuring out who is going to move our stuff into a storage for a year…and so on…Because when Dave returns we are headed to the UK!!! Lakenheath AFB in England!! We are so excited to go and experience something new but at the same time sad because we will miss all of our family and friends.

And last but not least…The girls are turning 2 on Monday..I cannot believe it..time went by so fast and I am hoping that as fast as these 2 years went by, that the time will fly when Dave is not here. We are having their party next Saturday the 8th and rented a bouncy castle!!! They are going to love it and I cannot wait! I bet you can’t think of the theme of the party…………………………..DORA!!!! They are obsessed with Dora right now!!! Anywho, I hope everyone is doing well and has a very Happy new year!!! Can’t wait to see what is in store for all of us!!! Ok here are some picturs.. So what's new haha...im behind once again!! I just can't find the time or energy to sit down and do this!! Anyways, we haven't really been much to anything. We had a nice little Thanksgiving with just us, Dave's cousin and his g/f and the girls of course! We had so much food it didn't even look like we touched it ha. We also went to have pictures made for our annual Christmas session! I just knew they were going to turn out horrible. They would not sit still for a second. Well Audrey wouldn't and Addisyn followed of course haha! We did get a few that turned out good! Like I said Audrey would not sit still...I had 1 picture of her individually to choose from and 1 of them to choose from of them together!!! But it all worked out because the once we got turned out cute I think!!! Hopefully next year will be better!!!

A little of everything!

So sorry I have been really bad about getting stuff posted on here! We have been working and working haha! I am at work and Dave is at home sleeping and the girls are at daycare. Then when I go home, I get the girls we eat dinner, and Dave goes to work. We are on a weird schedule, never see each other much...so we have been real tired lately. With the time change, weather changing, and the girls being in daycare, we have all been sick at one point in the last month. NOT FUN! And with Dave working nights right now, its just me that has to wake up with the girls! NOT FUN!

We took the girls to the Dr. last week to see what was going on because they haven't been sleeping well. It all started with a stomach virus, then a cough..Hmmm..what could be going on. I really felt like I had new born babies again that woke up every couple of hours. Except they weren't hungry haha!!! Well come to find out they both had double ear infections....Well, well, well...NO WONDER!!!!! They have now been on the antibiotic for about 4 days now and have been getting a breathing treatment 2 times a day to keep their coughs loose..and FINALLY slept through the night!!!! Dave got home from work this morning about 630 and said, they are still sleeping? I said yes....shhhh!!! DON'T WAKE THEM UP HAHA!!! I finally got to take a shower in peace haha!!!So what else have we been up too!!!! ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS at the Midyett house!!! I love this time of year!!! Now if I can get the girls to quit taking all the ornaments off the tree that would be lovely haha!!! I have all my decorations for the most part up inside the house!!! I don't have a fire place in this house on base...which I miss!!! but oh well what can you do. So I had to make due with what I have!!!! Thats all I can do!!! I am going to put some of the pictures that I took from my phone and edit it later when I get home that I took with my camera!! These pictures are soo small haha...but you get the point! Ill change it later lol!

Another thing I have been up too is birthday party planning...Can you believe that the girls will be 2 in just 42 days....holy moly, where has the time gone!?!?!They are not babies anymore :( Audrey is saying sentences now...her favorite one is "where mommy go?" or "where daddy go?" When I am doing laundry...she points to one of Dave's shirts and says "thats daddys!" or "thats mommy's" Addisyn will say a lot of one-two word sentences that we can actually make out...but she still talks a lot of jibberish! She will have a whole entire conversation with you like that and expect you to understand what she is saying! its soo funny!!! I love it!!! They are our world! I don't know what we would be doing if we didn't have them! I couldn't decide on if we should do their party at Chuck E Cheese or the house. Well when i got the pricing from Chuck E Cheese I was like nevermind that idea haha. So I went with having the party at the house! I have rented a bouncy castle! It was cheap and the kids really enjoy it!! We went to a birthday party a couple of weeks ago, Landon, my friends son turned 4. They had a bouncy castle and the girls loved it!!! They didn't want to stay out of it!!! I have pictures from that that I will have to add later when I get them from my camera!!! But anyways thats what I decided we are doing!!! January 8th is the day! So mark your calendars!!! They are really into Dora right now so Dora it is!! I found these birthday invites...I just have to add their picture to it!!! I thought they were really cute!!!

Can you believe it has been 6 years since my little brother Matt was taken from us. Its so hard to think about it and it seems as if it were just yesterday. I miss him everyday and think about what he would be doing right now. Would he be married? Would he have little ones like Jennifer and I? It makes me sad to think about it but its hard not too..I will lay in bed and think that any minute he is going to burst through the door and say "whats up!" I always think about our last conversation...He had called my phone before one of my games in college..I answered and he said "oops, I didn't mean to call you...good luck.." That was it...It makes me sad that those were our last words to one another...

Matthew John Glowacz, you were truely an amazing brother. You were full of energy, great personality, got along with everyone, most of the time ha, and had so many people who loved you. Even though we fought a lot we still loved each other and would do anything for one another. I miss you everyday and you are always on my mind. Never goes away. I know you are in good hands and you are watching over us everyday with a BIG smile on your face saying "IT'S ALL GOOD" We love you very much you will never leave our hearts. I wish you were here to see your nieces grow up..You would have been the best Uncle Matt!!!! All the girls would love you!!!! I show them picture of you so they know who you are!!! I know, I know...Its been well over a month since I have posted something. I have been real busy and started working. I love my new job! I get paid to take pictures of vehicles and post them on the internet, do internet advertising on face book, twitter, etc.!!! I mean who wouldn't enjoy that ha ha!!! Anyways, I thought I would just post a little something to hold y'all over until I get home to do a real blog with photos!! I work every other Saturday to let the receptionist have a day off, but my normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8-5! So I am working right now...not doing a whole lot, answering phones...but its raining outside so there really isn't much action going on today...So until later tonight or tomorrow! Oops!!! Its been almost a month since I posted last haha...And can you believe I have no pictures either!!! I have been so horrible at that...In the mean time we really haven't been up to anything good around here...My parents came for a visit this past weekend and we had a really nice time!!! We went to the zoo and the girls really enjoyed looking at all of the animals!! It was their first time to go and our first time to go to the Abilene Zoo!! We just relaxed and watched football the rest of the weekend!!!

So I am sure everyone knows...but we just found out 2 weeks ago that Dave will be going to Turkey in April for 1 whole year...Its going to be hard, but we have been apart before just without kids so it will be a lot different this time around..Before Dave and I got married we did the whole long distance thing..I finished up school and he was going through basic training, tech school, then moved to Alaska! And that was for at least a year and a half maybe longer being apart...After he is there for 6 months, he is aloud to come home and visit for at least 30 days and will then have to go back and finish the last 6 months...When the year is up, we get a follow on base because he is going to be doing a short tour...(1 year) which means we are moving when he is done!!! We will find out at the end of this month...beginning of October where we will be moving too!!! I wish we already knew but we have to wait haha...I hate waiting!!! Anyways until then yall can sit on the edge of your seat and wait with me haha!!!

I am in the process of looking for a job...I am trying to go back full-time hopefully! I will definitely need the job when Dave is gone to help time pass quicker..If I am sitting at home all day everyday with the girls...all I will be doing is looking a a clock and it will make the days seem like forever! So I am going to get a job, put the girls in day care which I think they will love being around other kids their age and get to be social!! Plus I think it will be really good for them!!! And I am hoping for this year to go by as quick as possible!!!! So in the mean time say some prayers for me that I get a job!!!! Anywho, sorry for the boring post with no pictures!! I need to get busy with that lol!!!!

Way Way Behind

So I am way way behind on blogging...Since the last time I made a post we have been to Sea World and had a nice visit with my Aunt and Uncle and little cousins and been in the hospital..Its been a lovely 2 weeks haha but we are all getting back in to our normal routine for now until we go out of town this weekend again ha!

So all the way back to Sea World...It was so so so so HOT!!!! We really didn't get to do much..we stood in line for a good 30-45 min when we got thereabout 1030..Then when we got in the girls were already hungry since it was around lunch time so we grabbed a bite to eat real quick.. then we decided we would try and go feed the dolphins..go figure they already ate haha!! So we just watched them swim around for a little bit and the girls really enjoyed it! Then it was off to the Shamu show..It was packed and there was not an empty seat in the house! the girls really enjoyed it..they were ooohhhh and ahhhh the whole time!!! Even clapping their hands!!! But like I said again...it was about 100 degrees + ...after the show, we went and put them in the stroller and they passed out haha!!! So we decided to leave! We didn't do a whole lot but what can you do ha!! We are going to try and go back when its cooler outside...maybe in october!

We went back to Uncle Joe and Roxanne's and spent some time at their neigborhood pool and then they had a cook out with some of their neighbors!!! It was a great time and I am really glad we got to visit with them..Connor and Camryn really enjoyed having the girls around and didn't want us to go!!! But Dave had to go back to work so we had too ha!!! Next time we won't take so long to visit!!! Also thank you so much for all the clothes!! Roxanne was so nice and gave us a bunch of Caitlyn's clothes that she grew out of for now, winter and even next summer!!! We really appreciate it!

Last weekend...Audrey had woke up on Saturday morning with a fever of about 101...I gave her some tylenol and thought maybe it was just a little bug...She took a nap and woke up still with a fever...I thought she was just having a stomach ache because of the way she was sitting...Well the dr office closed at noon...so I thought I would try and take her to dr j's...she had an ant bite that got infected and it was swollen and very hard...they told me they couldn't do anything and that I needed to go to the ER...GREAT!!! so we drove over to the ER and sat...We were there for about 3 hours and only 1 person had been called back to a room..he came out with a broken arm...but no one else had been called back since then...come to find out we heard they didn't have any rooms to put anyone...I was like we will be here all night lol...So I called Audrey's dr and he prescribed something over the phone for her to take by mouth for the infection...He figured he knew what it was so he told us to come in on Sunday afternoon...So Sunday she still has a fever of 102 now...we go to the dr and he right away says..this is a Staph infection..me of course think the worst and start crying...trying to hold it in...but I couldn't...He told me he was going to admit her into the hospital and that she would be there for 2-3 days..he thought it was best if she got antibiotics through an IV because it was quicker...So off we went!!! Sorry if this is draggin on lol!!! Almost done! As we get to the hospital they were trying to put the IV in her...took them 7 times to find a good vein...OUCH! poor baby was worn out by then...So we got her all hooked up to the IV and got some anitibiotics in her! Monday a surgeon came in to look at her infection...he said yes I am definitely going to need to drain that...They had to put her to sleep and cut 2 small incisions in her to drain the infection...I felt so bad for her...It made me so sad...But it got better real quick after they drained it and we were out of there in 3 days!!! Long time with no sleep and Dave and I going back and forth from home to the hospital because one of us needed to stay with Addisyn!!!! They got so excited when they saw each other...even after Audrey got out of surgery and was still a little groggy from the sleepy medicine they put her on...she saw Addisyn and immediately snapped out of it and wanted to play...But anyways...its been a week since then and with the medicine, and several days of bath's 3-4 times a day for 20 min each we are almost completely healed up..she still has 2 days left of the antibiotic she is on but it looks almost 100 % better!! Sorry the pictures are out of order here...

Sorry about my last post...the entire post almost is posted into the title and it won't let me copy and paste it into the body haha!! So sorry!!!

Catching Up!!!So im a week behind on this post but better late than never right???!!!! Dave left last Sunday morning to head to Scott AFB, IL. He made the trip a 2 day trip so that he wouldn't have to drive 13 + hours in one day. This was a short training, he will be back this coming Friday!! So in the mean time, to help pass the time, my grandparents came up last Tuesday and left Thursday morning! It was great to see them and just hang out with them..Wednesday morning we all got ready and headed out to show them around base...we also stopped and got a little history lesson on a few of the air planes...after that we went to the BX and had lunch iin the food court..Then it was back to the house for a nap..since everyone was taking a nap..I laid out in the sun..but it was real hot so that only lasted about 30 min...The rest of the time was just a nice relaxing visit at the house...We had a great time!! Thanks for coming to see us! The girls had a wonderful time and so did I!!! This weekend we really didn't do too much..I did my normal routine really...Breakfast, walk, play time, lunch...nap time..snack, play time...dinner, walk..lol...this is my schedule pretty much everyday haha!!! I let the girls play outside in the sprinkler and they really enjoy that...they could play out there for hours if I let them but it gets too hot!! This morning I needed to mow the back yard...so I turned the sprinkler on real low, got out some buckets and toys and they played while I mowed..it worked out real nicely!!! Since Dave isn't here, I have to do the inside and outside chores!!! I dont mind...gets me a little work out!!! Anywho, thats all we have been up too...not much of anything exciting!!!! 18 Months old

Can you believe the girls turned 18 months old this past Saturday? Man its almost time to start planning their 2nd birthday lol!!!! Anywho, its been a wonderful year and a half!!! I never knew how much you can love a person until my 2 miracle babies came into this world!!!! They are so much fun!!! Even though they get into everything, throw tantrums, fight, etc…I still love them just the same!!!!! Lets see what they are up to these days!!!

Addisyn and Audrey are:

*Using the potty and wearing undies while at home…they are starting to have no accidents and if they do its only down to 1 a day!!! I put a pull-up on them when we go somewhere and they are usually dry most times..and at night they still get a diaper but are sometimes dry and just a little wet when they wake up!!!! I am very proud of them!!!! It is definitely making my diaper bill less!

*Can point to their nose, ears, eyes, mouth, fingers, toes, hair, belly button

*Can high 5

*Can say please (pease) and thank you (tanktu)

*Use a fork and spoon, well when they want too ha

*Addisyn is in 12 month clothes but on the verge of moving up to 18 months, well not the pants haha!!! Audrey is in 18 month clothes and about to go on up to 24 months!!!

*Go to bed about 8-830 and sleep til 730-800

*For the most part they are good at sharing but sometimes they take toys from one another just like any other toddler their age ha

*They love to play with other kids and do very well with them when they get the chance!

*Take one long nap a day about 2-3 hours

*Audrey weights about 24 pounds and Addisyn still about 20…but they are getting taller

*starting to learn their colors better but its not down yet but close!

4th of July Weekend Recap

We had a great weekend!!! Since Dave had a 4 day weekend, we left Thursday when he got off work and headed down to Corpus Christi, TX. It rained off and on the whole way down since Hurricane Alex had just gone through. But it wasn’t too bad. We got in about 1030 that night which was nice because we had a full 3 days to relax and hang out! We didn’t do too much on Friday but hang out with family!!! It was nice to catch up and see everyone!!!

Saturday we decided to pack up and head to Port Aransas to meet our friends Jeff and Candace who were down for the holiday weekend!!! We haven’t seen them in over a year and we had a great time!!! We headed over to the beach and spent about 4-5 hours out there!! The girls had a blast and we had an awesome time hanging out with our friends we haven’t seen in forever!!!

Then Sunday, the 4th, we headed out to the Midyett lake house!!! We only planned to be out there a couple hours and ended up staying out there about 6 hours!! We had so much fun!!! Audrey of course loves the water and had no problem getting in and splashing around, but Addisyn on the other hand..takes a little bit to get use to it..They also enjoyed their first boat ride and got to watch their daddy ski!!!! Its been a while since he has skied so he was a little sore the next day but he did well! After the long day at the lake and getting sunburned, we headed back to Corpus to take showers and grab something to eat…then it was off to watch the fireworks!!! It was kind of late so they were kind of cranky, but Audrey really enjoyed it!!!! Addisyn at times would stop and watch but other than that she had had it for the night and was ready to go to bed!!! All and all it was a great weekend!!! Here are some pictures!!! Enjoy there are a lot!!!!!

Dave’s 29th Birthday!!!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Dave’s 29th birthday! That means this is his last year to be in the 20’s!!! He got the option from his work to play in a fundraiser golf tournament with his senior or go to work! Well of course he chose to play golf!!! So while he was out..the girls and I decided to go to walmart and get some stuff to make Daddy a cake!!! I let them help me and they really enjoyed it!!! Dave was very surprised when he got home around 315 that he had a birthday cake with 29 candles on it waiting for him!!!! Yes I put 29 candles on it!!! Love it!!! I had also gotten him a new golf bag that he got 2 weeks ago because his other one ripped!!!!

Dave I hope you had a great birthday!!! We love you so much there aren’t enough words to describe!!! You are a great husband and father and we couldn’t ask for anything more!!! So happy birthday!!! We love you!!!!!

We are leaving Thursday evening when Dave gets off work. His cousin Danny will be riding down with us!! So about 5 we will be on the road and headed south..I hope the hurricane will be gone by the time we get there haha because I want some beach time while we are there!!! The girls love the water and I think they will have more fun this time around because I won’t be by myself with 2, we will have Dave with us!!! wahoo!!! We are still waiting on Dave to hear about his training that will be in Illinois for 2 weeks, but he thinks that his class will begin on the 12th…so that maeans he will have to leave next Saturday morning to get there by that Monday! A Stroll Around the Base!

So this morning I decide that the girls needed to get out of the house instead of doing our normal morning routine..which lately has consisted of the bathroom ha…I have been putting them on the toilet every 30 min-1 hour and once one is done, I put the other on…then its time for the other to go back on…Ya, so they are getting better and holding it longer now so hopefully I won’t be doing that much longer haha!!! I mean its only been 4 days since I bought the panties and they seem to be getting better each day!!!!

Anyways, on with my story! I decided to take the girls on a walk in the stroller and go look at the air planes here on base..they really haven’t seen the air planes so I thought I would take them!!! Dave said…"isn’t that a long walk?” I was like “Yes, but we don’t have anything else to do so why not lol!!!” It is about 1.2 miles to the front gate and about another 1/2 mile to all the air planes…So we stopped and looked at a few..I let them get out and go touch them..but Addisyn wanted nothing to do with them.,..I think she was scared of how big they were..not too sure ha…Audrey loved it!! So anyway, I figured since we had already walked almost 2 miles…might as well keep going…we finished the walk and took the route that I have been running at night..It is a total of 4.34 miles..I only run 4 miles and walk the rest..maybe a few more times of it and I can run the whole thing ha!!! Yes it was a bit long, but hey..I had some ice cream last night..oh and it was delicious..so I needed to walk it off!! And tonight I will do my regular run I do everyday!!! I think I am going to start taking them on walks in the morning before it gets too toasty out!!! But not a 2 hour plus walk ha!!!

Father’s Day!

Daddy and his girls!!!

Well we didn’t do anything real exciting for Father’s day except the usual hang around the house kind of day! This morning the girls woke up bright and early around 630…(everyday) I think its too bright in their room ha! So I got up and made a yummy breakfast for all of us..well for Dave! He requested pancakes because they sounded good…So I made blueberry pancakes, eggs and turkey bacon!!! It sure was yummy!

Then Dave wanted to go to the store and buy what he wanted to have for dinner..since today is his day..So Dave and Audrey went and got a nice rib eye steak while Addisyn and I just hung out here at home!!!!! YUM YUM! Doesn’t that sound amazing! I made a marinade and the steak was nice and juicy!!

When he got home, I did my usual run for the day..not as long but at least I did it ha!!! I have been running outside since Thursday and its getting a bit easier now…I was running on the treadmill but running outside is way different and harder because you are actually having to push yourself ha!!! So I run about 2.5 miles a day outside and am hoping to do more as time goes on!!! Gotta lose this last 15 pounds to reach my goal weight!!! 30 pounds down!

After that, I had a baby shower to go too! So while I was gone the girls took a nap, and when they woke up, Dave took in the backyard for a little sprinkler fun!!! Looks like they really enjoyed it by the looks on their faces!!! Then after the sprinklers, they enjoyed a nice yummy snack of Watermelon!!!

So when I got back from the baby shower, we cooked dinner…rested for about 30 min and then went on a family walk for about 25 min!!! All and all it was a nice Father’s Day!!!!

I think we might be headed down to Corpus on July 2nd..We think Dave has that Monday after the 4th off (we will find out for sure tomorrow) But as of right now we are planning to come enjoy a nice weekend with the Midyett’s!!! Maybe even hit up the beach!!

TRYING OUT THE POTTY!!!!

So yesterday it occurred to me that the girls were very interested in the potty. So I thought to myself, is it too early? I mean they are only 17 months old lol…so why not go ahead and try out potty training while they are interested and see where it takes us!!! I already had one potty but they fought over it of course so off to walmart today I went to buy another!!! Turns out they didn’t really like the one that I bought today because it doesn’t make any sounds like the other one I already had…bummer ha..

So after the girls took a nap we went swimming for about an hour..when we got home I decided that maybe it would be a good time to sit them on the potty and try it out since I was taking their swim diapers off and putting regular dry ones on! Sat them down and yayyyy!!!! Audrey went potty!!!! I was like alright awesome!!!! This was a about 415 this afternoon!!! Addisyn just thought she would play on it ha!! So I got all excited and clapped my hands!!! Went on to cook dinner..about 445 I thought I would put them on it again…Yayyy!!!!! Audrey went again!!! Woo hoo…easier than I thought ha!!!! Addisyn, no luck, just up and down! So about 515 I tried again…and Audrey wanted nothing to do with it ha!!!…So I went on with dinner and then we ate. After dinner I thought I would take the seat off the new potty I bought today and attach it to the toilet…considering Addisyn just wanted to play lol…So it turns out Audrey does better on the singing potty and Addisyn likes the big potty with the attached seat on it…anyways…after dinner put them on the potty…Addisyn…Yayyyy!!!! went potty!!!! Audrey no luck lol…about 30 minutes later.,..tried again!!!! Yayyy!!!! Addisyn went potty…Audrey, no luck!!!! I thought that was pretty good for a first couple of hours of trying!!!! So we will do it again tomorrow right when they wake up!!!! Hopefully tomorrow they will continue to go in the potty and have more dry diapers!!! Man wouldn’t that be awesome haha!!! Diapers are breaking us haha!!! Not really, but they are expensive when you have 2 in diapers!!!

This is going to be a very very long post with lots of pictures!!! So beware haha!!!! I mean really, its been a month and I have lots of stuff to share! Well I am going all the way back to my dad’s birthday which was May 22nd. Yes I think it has been longer than that since I have put an update besides writing that little bit I did last night!!! Oh well, that is what happens when you move right??!!

Birthday Celebration

We celebrated my dads birthday with our family and some friends!!! It was just great being around everyone and enjoying the day on his special day!!! He grilled fajitas (beef, chicken, and pork) and they were very yummy..and of course had all of the fixings to go with it!!! Then we just sat outside and enjoyed the night watching the girls play, and the adults play a little bit of washers!!! All and all it was a fun night!!!

New Home

So the Monday after my dads birthday the girls and I headed back to good ole Abilene, TX…what we call home for now!!! The housing office on the base had been giving me a hard time about getting a house because we didn’t have anything showing that we were staying here at Dyess due to Dave’s training and going to a new job. I had something that Dave printed out for me saying we were staying here so that I could get a house and they told me that it wouldn’t work. That is why I came back a week early so that I could show it to them in person because I didn’t think that they understood what I was talking about over the phone..and sure enough it worked!!! They sat me down and offered me a house right away! I had 24 hours to accept it…so I went to look at it and decided to accept it because almost all of the houses are exactly the same besides the 4 bedrooms..I asked how to get a 4 bedroom and they told me to have another kid….oooookkkkk haha!!! So with a few signatures I had the keys to the house by 415 that afternoon!!!! Yay I can move in ha!!!

I had my storage delivered that Wednesday. The housing office on base told me that I had 24 hours that I can have it sitting in my driveway. Great lol. I am by myself, with twins, how the heck am I going to unload this thing by myself and have it off my driveway. Well with some nice friends of ours, and co-workers of Dave’s, about 7 guys came over and unloaded my storage in about 35 minutes!!! I think it would have taken me 35 hours to do it alone haha!!! They even went to my other storage to pick up our couches and tvs and brought it back to the house…and the guys that didn’t go, stayed at the house and put my furniture where it needed to go and put together!!! I can never be so thankful to have the help that I did!!! I got them pizza and sweet tea, because that is what they wanted!!!! They were definitely a life saver!!! With no tv or internet, I had the house all in order by the time Dave got home from school a week later!!!! So it is great to have something to call home again for now!!!

Look even my truck fits in the garage!!!! We have an oversized garage and its really nice! There is room for Dave’s truck and motorcycle if we ever get to cleaning it out ha!

Dave’s New Job

So Dave started his new job about a week after he returned home from tech school. He is enjoying it right now, but he is also still in the training mode. Right now he is working 730-430 monday-friday so that is nice to have him home for dinner. He will be on this schedule probably for about 6 months then start the schedule that everyone else works….6-6, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on 2 off….or something along those lines….So he will have to work on weekends and holidays if the days he works falls on those days…I think it comes out to him working every other weekend..Not sure though until he gets on that schedule which is a while away!! He also found out that he still has a couple more weeks of training…so in the middle of July he will be leaving again and heading to Scott AFB in Illinois for 2 weeks….at least this is a short one and he will be back in no time hopefully!!! We should be able to keep pretty busy with it being summer and the pool is open!!!

What is New with the Girls!!!??

Well Addisyn and Audrey are really starting to do a lot more these days!!!! They will go from playing together, giving each other hugs and kisses, to fighting over toys and biting each other haha!!! But I guess that is an almost 18 month old for you!!! Can you believe its been almost a year and a half since they were born…I sure can’t!

They are really starting to talk a lot more to where you can actually understand some of their jibber jabber!!!!

Words they are saying:

mama, dada, bapa (grandpa), bama (grandma), dog, light, moo (cow), donda (donkey) lol..baa (sheep), tanktu (thank you), hi, bye-bye, banket, night night, baby, Assyn (Addisyn), and don ta (don’t touch)!

I am sure there are plenty more, but that is what I have right now!!!!

Audrey is weighing about 24-25 pounds and about 32 1/2 inches long.

Addisyn is weighing about 20 pounds and about 30 inches long.

Don’t mind the food on her face!!! She just got done eating lucky charms for breakfast and I snapped a picture before I cleaned her up haha!

I have also moved them into a toddler bed instead of their cribs. I was afraid it was going to be too early to do that, but I had no choice because when I took Addisyn’s bed apart I broke something that the rail hooks on to. They are actually doing really well. They stay in it all night and they take one nap a day now.

I just put them on a new schedule and it seems to be working out great!!!!

Wake up at 645-730, Nap time 1130-200, and bed time at 800pm. It seems to be working out great and I like the 2-2 1/2 hour break during the day!!

I have been working with them on their shapes and colors…I think they are finally starting to understand and when I say what it is…they put it in that hole…So they are able to match it right away!!!

I also started letting them color…They really enjoy it…right now its just lines on paper but hey, you have to start somewhere and at least it goes on the paper haha!!! I also think that Addisyn is going to be left handed and Audrey is going to be right..

Where have the midyett's been!?!?! Well I have not had a computer or Internet for the last 3 weeks so I have not blogged...all I have is my Internet on my phone!!! I am suppose to be getting internet hooked up tomorrow, they gave me the wrong kind of router so I was not able to hook it up and they are backed up and can't get here until tomorrow....then when I got my computer out of storage, the motherboard had gone out in the computer so it was being serviced for 2 weeks!!!! So if you read about the midyett's I'm sorry I haven't been on!!! So I will post a real update tomorrow night with lots and lots of pictures from the past month and what we have been up to!!! Way behind....

Well, there is nothing new about me being way behind on blogging ha ha!!! I guess this post will go all the way back to Mother's Day! It was a good day..We had a nice visit with the great grandmas and grandpas that came over and of course grandma and grandpa Glowacz! We all got together at my moms house for lunch!! Steak, potatoes, broccoli, and corn!!! It was very yummy!!! Dave wasn't able to be here because he is still at school, but he did send me some very pretty roses!!!!

We were all sitting outside waiting for the steaks to be done!!! They love to climb in and out of this stroller!

The next weekend we went to meet Dave about halfway in Lafayette, Lousiana. He really missed the girls, so he wanted to see them!! Well me too of course ha ha!! It was a very short but nice visit!!! The weather wasn't all that nice while we were there so we did a lot of indoor stuff. We wanted to go swimming at the hotel, but when we walked down to look at it..the pool was green, I was like we are not going in there...that pool looks nasty...don't they know how to clean pools in Louisiana??? So that was disappointing. We rested a bit, then we went and ate dinner at Outback and had a yummy steak!! I have figured out that the girls never sit in the high chairs at the restaurants so I said lets try a booster seat. Yes! Finally they will sit in a booster chair without us having to old them while we eat....I probably just jinxed myself lol!!! Oh well..it worked that weekend ha! After we ate we headed over to the mall to check it out. They had lots of stores!!! It was a pretty large mall!!! So we walked around. After that we decided to take the girls to the park. They really enjoy swinging and going up and down the slides!!!! After being there about 45 min, it was time to head back to the hotel and get the girls washed up and put to bed!!!!

Saturday....Well it rained on and off all day. There wasn't a lot of stuff to do in Lafayette, so we hung around the hotel, went to the mall again...bought the girls a couple of outfits, dave some shorts...then for the entertainment of the night..we headed over to Chuck E Cheese's! The girls really enjoy riding all the rides they have for little kids! Thats about all we can do at their age!! BUt we were there for a couple of hours and by the time we looked at a clock it was already 8. We enjoyed pizza and just had good quality time together as a family!!! It was really nice!!!! The girls really loved having their daddy around!!! We have all missed him and its only been 5 weeks. 2 weeks left until he is back in Abilene!!!

I think Audrey will be the driver of the 2! She loves to turn the wheel and then doesn't want to get out when its over!!!! They are driving the jeep!

I am going to be going back to Abilene on Sunday! My goal is to try and get a house on base!!! I really miss having my stuff and my own bed!!! Im sure the girls miss having their beds too rather than sleeping in a pack n' play for the last 8 weeks. We are actually going to make their cribs into toddler beds when we move into a house....any suggestions on how to keep them in their bed to go night night before we start this haha!!! The reason we are doing toddler beds already is because when I was taking Addisyn's bed apart, I kind of broke something on the railing that goes up and down...oops!!! Looks like we are going to have big girl beds early!!!! Anyways...this was probably a long drawn out post...but it should hold yall over another month right haha????? JK..probably at least until I get my computer out of storage! Hopefully within the next 2 weeks!!!! Until next time!!

Disappeared?

Did yall think that we disappeared???? Well we are still here haha!!! So the girls and I made a trip to Corpus to see the Midyett's! It was a great visit...relaxing and playing outside is all we did..but it was nice!!!! Oh wait, we had some yummy food thanks to Harmony!!! Thank yall for having us!!! We did go to the beach 1 time and the girls really enjoyed it....I didn't get any pictures because my battery died on my camera...So thats really all we have been up to is hanging around the house, playing outside and getting a nice sun tan!

When I came back to Bellville last Wednesday...the girls had been real whiny for about a week or so...I thought it was just their teeth because they are getting their back molars in right now. I thought I should take them to a Dr and see what was going on with them..well I had already gotten a referral the week before for Addisyn so I took her first...and of course she had an ear infection in both ears...yuck..well no wonder she was so whiny...we got her on some medicine and the next day she was feeling much better and being more like herself again!!! I got Audrey a referral but it takes a day to get approved so I took her the next day..She had an ear infection in both ears too...man. Well they have been on the meds about 4 days now and are doing almost 100 % better!!!

So we are about 3 weeks into Dave being gone at school and I feel like its been forever ago since he left..We miss him very much! The girls and I are actually going to meet him in Louisiana the weekend of the 14th! We can't wait! He really misses the girls..and me too of course haha!!! So that should be a great weekend and we are really looking forward to it!! He has 4 weeks of school left and after we visit, we will only have 2 weeks to go!!!! I will actually be going back to Abilene around May 25th, about a week before he comes back!!! I have a few things I need to take care of!!! Hopefully by then Dave will have his orders and we can get a house on base!!! I miss my things haha!!!! Anywho, in the mean time we have been having a nice stay here with grandma and grandpa Glowacz!!! They are really helping me a lot with the girls and I greatly appreciate it!!! Anywho, here are a few pictures! Maybe next time it won't take me a month to post a new blog haha!

So we made it out of Abilene and down to Bellville, TX. We are getting settled in and just trying to relax a bit..if you want to call it that haha!!! Dave leaves on Tuesday morning to make the drive to Mississippi for tech school!!! He will be gone for 7 weeks....I hope it goes by quickly!!! Hopefully when he gets to tech school they will give him his hard copy orders saying that we are staying at Dyess so that we can get on the waiting list to get a house on base...its hard not having all of your things and it all being in a storage..Oh well...here are a few pictures from this week down here in Bellville!

So we said goodbye to our first home..It was kind of sad because it was the first big thing Dave and I bought being married. It was a good first home, but now we can only hope for bigger and better things to come!!!! You never know where we will end up being with the military and all!!!!

Ok so dave and I have been very busy these last couple of weeks. We have Been packing with 2 one year olds at your feet, putting stuff in storage, cleaning, and of course Dave had to work too....so we closed on our house today. We are now officially homeless ha ha! But that's ok, Dave leaves for tech school in a week and he will be gone for about 7 weeks!!! We will miss him, but being around family should keep us busy and make the time go by quickly...hopefully!!! It's so weird not going to our house....we are staying with a friend until we head down to my parents house. We will stay there until Dave is done with school, then we will be back in Abilene and hopefully have a house. Our plan is to live on base because Dave can still get orders at anytime to go somewhere new and we don't want to have to go throuh the stressful process of selling a house again. So that is our plans!!!!! I am not hooked up to a computer right now so I will be posting from my phone! Until next time! Hope everyone has a great Easter!

Way Behind….

Ok so I am way behind on blogging…sorry :) I have been real busy trying to pack! Dave works, I pack and try to entertain the girls at the same time haha!!! Fun stuff!!!! I put stuff in boxes, they take it out haha!!! But anyways its coming together and just hoping everything works out and goes through. We are down to 12 days until we are suppose to be moved out and clean completely…which is not a whole lot of time. I have really been stressing out lately because we are running out of time and they still have yet to come appraise the house. I was hoping it would come this week just in case the number came back too low and we would have to figure something out before I packed everything…but no such luck..I am probably jinxing myself by packing and then something will happen and I will have to unpack everything haha!!! That is just my luck!!! NONE!!! But anyways here are some pictures from the last 2 weeks…we went to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese 2 weeks ago and I am just posting haha.

If you have not already heard through me or someone else, we sold our house today!!! This guy came to look at it 4 times haha!!! Man, who would have thought you would have to look at a house that many times to know if it feels like home to you! But anyways, we got in an offer today and went back and forth for a couple of hours and finally agreed…5 weeks on the market…not bad huh? Anyways, we are not coming out on top with this house considering we still owe pretty much what we bought it for haha!!! But its alright…we can save some money now for a few months while Dave is gone at tech school!!! So right now we are still in the option period for the next 10 days…praying still that the house appraises for what we need!! If it does!! we are good to go!!! As of right now the closing date and day that we have to be completely moved out of our first home :( is March 31st. So that gives us about 3 1/2 weeks. We are not going to start packing until we get that appraisal!!! But anyways!!! Thats the news of the week!!

Starting off with the beautiful weather we had last weekend!!!! the girls just love being outside and I am glad the weather was warm enough for us to venture out!!!! They love to crawl around in the grass and swing in the backyard so we go out for a little bit everyday, weather permitting!!!!!

We are really, I mean really ready for the warm weather!!!! We also made their first trip to the park on Sunday!!! It was a little bit cold because the wind was blowing so hard, so we were only there about 15 minutes!!!

Then what do you know, a few days in the mid-60s and bam! Its going to snow in Abilene!!! So far today we have gotten about 5-6 inches of snow!!!!

Wow!!! lots of snow!!!!! It actually stuck to the ground and the roads were a mess…I am so glad I don’t have to drive in this to work anymore!!!! Its nice to stay at home on these kinds of days!!!

Catching up!

So its been a while since I have posted something other than videos of the girls walking! Audrey is walking everywhere now, Addisyn not so much haha!!! But they sure love to climb onto and into everything!!!!

This past weekend we went to Corpus because Dave had a 3 day weekend! I on the other hand am done working and is loving every minute of staying home with the girls!!! We spent some quality time with the Midyett’s!!! Lillie and Isabel actually had their birthday parties together so we got to be there for that as well!!!! They are getting so big!!! The girls love spending time with their cousins! Later, after the party, we took the girls home, gave them a bath, fed them, put them to bed and head to a Mexican restaurant to have some adult time with Andrea, Ronald, John, and Marissa. It was fun, but I was exhausted and passed out as soon as we got back!!!

So on Valentine’s Day, Dave and I decided we wanted to get the girls ears pierced. They cried but not for long and they were over it. Its still a fight with them to clean their ears 2-3 times a day, but it has to get done!!! They look so cute!!! Then we spent the afternoon at Andrea and Ronalds house! Earlier that day they had taken pictures of Lillie in a Korean dress. We didn’t know that they were doing that and when we called to ask if we could use the dress to take the girls pictures, they said sure they had already gotten it out!!! Let me tell ya, Audrey does not like anything on her head lol!!!! But I think we got a couple of good shots!!!!

Addisyn went first to get her ears pierced!!! Just waiting while the lady preps everything!

WE laughed a lot except for the annoying lady who had to laugh louder than everyone and even when no one laughed she did, and happened to be sitting right behind us…ugh!!!!! Does anyone else get annoyed at that lol? or is it just me!!!?!!! We had a great visit and can’t wait to see yall again!

HE WILL MISS US AND WE WILL MISS HIM MORE!!!!

WELL OUR HOUSE IS UP FOR SALE...WE HAVENT HAD ANY LOOKERS YET...ITS ONLY BEEN A WEEK, I GUESS I NEED A LITTLE MORE PATIENCE FOR THIS TYPE OF STUFF HAHA!!!! DAVE KEEPS TELLING ME, ITS ONLY BEEN A WEEK AND IT ONLY TAKES ONE PERSON TO BUY!!! TRUE..BUT I HATE, HATE WAITING HAHA!!!! OH WELL!!!! I AM PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE SO WE ARENT STUCK WITH A MORTGAGE WHEN WE LEAVE!!!! WISH US LUCK AND HELP US PRAY THAT IT WILL SELL QUICKLY!!!!

BIG NEWS!

Well, Dave finally found out some information on when he will be leaving us to go to tech school for his new job. He will Leave April 12th and his class starts April 14th and will graduate June 2nd. So it will be just the girls and myself for 7 weeks. What will we do haha!! They told him that he will be getting an assignment for the new job during tech school. So that would put that about middle of May we should know where we will be getting stationed at. We have decided to go ahead and put our house on the market, hopefully next week. So we will have lots of prepping to do this weekend to get ready for the sell! Our realtor said average time a house sits on the market in Abilene is 4-6 months, so we thought we would start now so that we might have a sell when Dave graduates and its time for us to move!!! So ya, thats our big news!!! We will be very busy for a while now!!!

We will be sad to sell our first house together and our first house the girls lived in. We will also be sad that we might be moving further away from our family and friends, but will be looking forward as to what the future has to bring to us. If we are put over seas, its a once in a life time experience and we could always end up right back here in a few years. There is a 50-50 chance we could stay here, but we will see. Over seas is a big chance where we will end up! It will be exciting to go and see different cultures if that is where we will go. But dont worry its only for a few years then we come back!!!! But anyways until we know more..wish us luck on selling the house!!!!

They are both doing awesome and are very healthy.

Their next check-up will be at 15 months. We don’t really have anything new going on around here except working and playing the waiting game for Dave’s training dates. But as soon as we hear something we will let everyone know!!! Hopefully soon!!!

Wow I cant believe our baby girls turned 1 today. It is so hard to believe that it has been a year already...time has really flown..I hope it slows down some!!!! We had their birthday party yesterday and had a really good turn out! I think about 20 people in my house...a little crowded but we did it!!! The girls had not been feeling well and had a really bad cough and wheezy..So Saturday morning before their party we got up and took them to the dr. Well turns out they both have bronchitis and a double ear infection...poor babies..,The dr said that Audrey was almost borderline from being admitted into the hospital because she was breathing so badly. She got 2 shots in her legs and they both have to be on a breathing treatment every 1-2 hours. They are also on a steroid medicine and another antibiotic for their ears...poor babies I feel so bad..I think Audrey is starting to feel a little bit better..it might be taking her longer because she was so bad..but its only been 2 days..so hopefully she is better tomorrow! Addisyn on the other hand might be going backwards...hopefully not but I am going to keep a close eye on her and if she is not better tomorrow then I am taking her back to the dr to be checked again!

We wanted to thank everyone that came to celebrate with us!!! We really appreciate you being here. I want to give a special thanks to my mom and sister for all your help in the kitchen to help me prepare all the food!!! I really appreciate it! Also to my grandma who helped make some extra sandwiches to make sure we had enough!!! Thank you to Priscilla for getting the stuff to make the punch and making it and also making the yummy white chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles!

A special thank you to all of the family who drove a long way just to celebrate the girls 1st birthday! It really means a lot to us and I know the girls will appreciate one day when they are older!!!

I know there is a lot more stuff you can do but this is just a few of them!!!! We are so very proud of yall and you continue to amaze us everyday with the things you do!!! We were blessed with you 2 12 months ago and couldnt be happier!!!! We love you very much!!!

So I have been getting so behind on blogging lately...I have just been so busy with traveling...cleaning...laundry....traveling....cleaning...laundry...haha! Thats what you get around the holidays and when your familes live in opposite directions! Anyways we had a great Christmas and I think the girls enjoyed it as well! Not sure they new what was going on but I got it all on video for them to watch later on when they are older!!! We enjoyed visiting with everyone and I know they enjoyed visiting our baby girls too!!!
So last week I originally asked off of work for Wednesday and Thursday but only got Thursday..Since the numbers of kids at the center were so low, I asked if I could leave early on Wednesday and my boss said well aren't you off...haha.."no, thats why I was asking lol!!"" duh! But anyways, Dave had the week off last week too but he thought he had to check into work on Thursday because they are only allowed so many days off in a row without taking leave. So little did he know haha, we get a phone call Wednesday morning at 7..I answered: "hello", does Dave know he was suppose to be here at 7 to check in? I was like I guess not since he is sleeping...So we decided last minute that we would leave when he got back..so I was already up folding laundry. I packed real quick, we loaded the car when he got back and off we went to Bellville, TX for Christmas with the family!!! It was a nice long 6 days off with good family time!!! We really enjoyed ourselves!! So here are some pictures from the days we were there. Sorry they are kind of not all in order. I had more photos too but with my new camera the photos are too large and it is taking me forever to edit them.
