Bury St. Edmunds Christmas Fayre

Bury St. Edmunds was having a Christmas Fayre. We decided last minute to go and take the girls because they had some small carnival rides!! They loved it! It was a bit chilly outside, so we rode some rides, walked around for a bit, grabbed a latte from Starbucks, then headed to dinner! We ate at this place called Nandos!! Really good and have some very yummy whole chicken that you can order!! Super delish!

Had to get a shot of everyone in the car lol!

their first ride!! They had so much fun and giggle the entire time it went around and up high!

They made me sit on the horse with standing allowed on this one!

Everyone loves the tea cups!!

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving besides the fact that we weren't with our family. But we have some pretty great friends here that we have made and had a wonderful day! We hosted it at our house this year! What was on our menu you ask? Well, we had roasted stuffed turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, candied yams with marshmellows, carmelized butternut squash (turned out so yummy), green bean casserole, stuffing, cornbread casserole, develed eggs, cranberries and rolls! We had a feast!! Then everyone was so full to even eat dessert haha! We had pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, chocolate pudding pie, pumpkin rolls, and pecan pie!

The girls of course had a great time playing with their friend Noah and Aiden and Amelia!! There room was of course trashed, but as long as they had fun I guess haha!

I put our Christmas tree up last week but didn't decorate it. So this morning the girls and I decorated it!! Dave is asleep because he had to work, so he missed out...but he is going to hang our outside lights this weekend!! The girls helped a lot this year and they hung all of the ornaments on the bottom of the tree. Now if I can just keep the kitties out of our tree we will be all good haha..the black one (Tux) seems to climb up the middle of the tree and sit there haha..she didnt do that until I put the lights on it. Gotta figure something out!

We have this weekend off, but unfortunately Dave has to work. He went to work last night all stuffed with Turkey and he works tonight and tomorrow night as well. So he spends his days sleeping while we are awake...and let me tell you trying to keep the girls quiet so he can sleep is a real chore!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We really missed being with our family. Just glad we have met wonderful people to celebrate the holidays with! We are all in the same boat being so far away!! Maybe next year we can fly back to the states for Christmas if we save enough money for 4 plane tickets! We shall see...

Helping Daddy make the stuffing for the turkey!

All of our yummy food! Buffet style!

The gang...Don't mind the drawn in girl haha!! Nadia was taking the picture so Kristen drew her in haha!! So funny!

Our Tree

Oh and last weekend we got Dave a car that he can drive to and from work. Its getting cold out and the roads have aleady been icy a few times. So this car is in pretty good condition for the year! Its a 1995 with 114K miles on it! Not too bad!

Halloween 2012

A bit behind! But better late than never!!! Anyways, Halloween on base over here in England is really big!! I mean CROWDED!!! Like people will park in your driveway if they see no vehicle haha!! I have never seen so many people trick-or-treating was crazy!! Everyone that lives off base, comes on base for Halloween. They even let the British on..I felt like I was in a big city, walking down the alleyways, shoulder to shoulder almost. There are so many people that everyone runs out of candy about 20 minutes into the 2 hour slot they have. They had fun, it was very cold and windy after about 30 min or so they wanted to go home.

This year the girls really understood what to do!! So exciting!! Which means from here on out, all of the holidays are going to be soooo much fun!! Can't wait for Christmas to see their faces!!

Addisyn...(Strawberry Shortcake) and Audrey....(Olivia the pig!)
They picked out their costumes..they were so excited and its all they talked about ha!! They were so cute!!
And look how tall Audrey is getting!! She is just about grown out of her 4T shirts and is needing to go up to 5T. Our babies are not babies anymore :( They grow to fast!
Addisyn is not too far off!! She is finally getting heavier and I think its because she is getting taller as well!! They need to stop growing!
But don't they look cute???!!!???!!

This is them with their friend Noah! He was the red powerranger. They really enjoy playing with him!! We are friends with his parents and it just works out that he is about the same age as the girls!! Noah is 4 1/2!!
Which reminds me, the girls are turning 4 in less than 2 months...Holy moly, where has the time gone!!! I am in the process of deciding what to do! They have a community center here that does packages..includes a bouncy castle..which they love, 2 large pizzas and some juice boxes for the kiddos....for 3 hours...they set it up and clean it up!! Works for me cause all we have to do is just show up!!! Don't mind if we do!
